The government of India has proposed an action to prevent foeticide. The approach should help in overall women health issues for a long time to come and will be a useful deterrent to female foeticide if implemented and enforced.
Hopefully China will take the lead and implement something similar there too. They have an even worser problem related to female foeticide.
