Suggestion for mito patients...

If you have a mitochondrial disorder or have lactic acidosis of any kind, this message is for you.

If you are not on B1 already, you should try it. If on B1 already and you still have tingling or confusion, provide double the dose(max 3 times adult dose). B1 is one of the most troublesome of the deficiencies caused in Mito cases.

Read about Beri Beri here. Recovery is slow.

The B1 deficiency seems to happen due to lactic acidosis(observed in Gastric bypass patients, a massively invasive surgical procedure).

Hope that helps.
